Totally agree. Sometimes we can set ourselves up for fall if we are not extremely careful. Even when we think it’s no big deal it’s still time to be wise.
Sage advice. I have a very good friend who is an ordained pastor. He fell because of many “counseling sessions” with needy congregants. Led to drugs and prison. Satan always attacks us where we are the weakest. Many men stray from their faith due to the wiles of women. He is doing a good work behind bars now and states “this is exactly where God wants me to be”
I am afraid I do not totally agree, I have actually done what you have suggested not to do many times and have enjoyed every moment of our married life (50yrs) Blessings (I really do know what you actually mean and I support that principle)
praise the LORD, ALMIGHTY GOD knows that this will happen in future so its in bible as an caution for us towards such activity in 2 thimothy 3:6-8. so its not tip of brother pete but its TRUTH OF GOD

His response was that he avoided the issues of handling money and visiting members of the opposite sex without his wife. I believe and endorse this teaching by Billy Graham with all my heart.
If the whole world knew Jesus! May the blessed Holy Spirit continue to make this message more real to us and experiential in our lives. May the world see her brokenness and turn to the Saviour Who was broken for her to be made whole. In Jesus precious Name. Amen
There are times when it is crucial and very urgent to be with the opposite sex alone not only we cannot find a partner but this is between life and death or there are ways to counter that. THINK “Christ spoke to the woman alone in the well..” I know you will say that I am not Christ” be reasonable…
